One of my favorite contemporary artists (and a dear friend!) has two exciting shows coming up this fall: paintings showing at Peter Blum in September; and sculptures at Phillip Johnson glass house in October. I love Enocs use of color and the textural aspect to his work.

3. Harper's Books
Located in East Hampton, this shop always has the most amazing collection of books and fun parties, too. We are obsessed with the Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama and have amassed quite a collection of his photo books here. A must visit!

4. The Styliner

When people think of Wolffer they think of wine, but Joey Wollfer opened a fabulous shop this summer in Sag Harbor for all things nomadic and travel. I bought the most amazing pair of Greek sandals from the shop that are festooned with pom poms, shells, ceramic beads and more—it's a party for your feet!

 I am absolutely obsessed with the ceramics by artist Michelle Quan. I want to buy a series of her bells to hang at home, and my daughter is coveting her ceramic bird-feeder for our backyard.

 6. Lazy Point
Another retail oasis that we love to visit in Amagansett to see our lovely friends Claudja and Marc. They spent time in India in the spring and have loaded the store with amazing finds from their travels.

 7. Naples, Italy

 We spent time in Italy this summer—first in Naples for a few days and then onto Ischia. Obviously Naples is all about pizza but also about fish. We had an amazing meal at Ristorante Da Dora and I would highly recommend it. Also an Aperitivo at the Grand Hotel Parkers on the roof terrace is not to be missed.

 8. Ischia, Italy
Ischia was like a dream. Prior to going, I only knew that the talented Mr. Ripley had been filmed there. What a special place. We stayed at the Mezzatore Resort and it was just perfect. Their seaside restaurant, Sciue Sciue is perfection—exactly what you want after swimming in the sea for hours. Bliss.

In the summer I live in Muzungu Sisters caftans and am never without my straw pom pom bag. Perfect for beach holidays and long summer days.

A classic Hamptons' summer night for us would include sunset cocktails at Sunset Beach followed by a wonderful dinner at Vine Street Cafe.
